UNICEF Hungary welcomes applications from cooperating companies, professional partners and sponsors who carry the future of young people in their hearts and want to help in their own way.

Goals of the program:

• Increasing the employability of young people through innovative methods (improving their education, training and employment opportunities, developing skills)
• Building long-term partnerships between government, companies, civil society organizations and the youth participants.
• Supporting the youth participants in finding solutions to their own problems.

In the two rounds of our program so far, we have helped the development of a number of fantastic projects. The idea of ​​Workility, which supports workplace integration, and the Rolling Map mobile app, which support barrier-free transport and access to higher education institutions, aimed at promoting the employability of people with disabilities. The The Conquerors of Fear and the Budaörs Tanoda-Romano Glaszo team launched a sensitization campaign and trainings against exclusion because they feel that their contemporaries often hurt them because of their origins. Lotus has designed a mentoring program for children growing up in orphanages, helping young people approaching adulthood by preparing them for independent living. On the trail of Deprivation and the Pearl of Szajla teams aimed to support the integration of children and young people excluded from the local community. The functions of existing community houses were further thought through with the creation of a community laundry as well as a donation center so that young people living in more difficult circumstances could better integrate into the local community without being the target of ridicule. The All for One, One for All! And Tomorrow teams help local Roma develop skills and enter the labor market with their solutions. In line with local needs, job search training was created with the involvement of Roma experts, as well as a placement website created with many visual and video elements. For people with learning difficulties, the NZV team has developed the DisHelps application, which forms a community and connects with experts for those with different learning difficulties.

The main result of the program is developing the problem solving and communication skills of the youth participants and strengthening their role in the community. It supports them in initiating social change at the local level, as it strengthens their management and entrepreneurial mindsets in addition to creativity, thereby supporting job search, initiating social dialogue, and reducing exclusion.
