Since the start of the Ukraine refugee crisis, Hungary started receiving people fleeing from Ukraine and has been providing immediate support and relief through local and international NGOs, UN agencies, and government-managed programmes.

People fleeing Ukraine may be eligible to apply for “Temporary Protection”. This is a legal status made available by EU countries so people fleeing the conflict are entitled to have legal rights in the EU countries they move to.

To support persons fleeing Ukraine with information and services, UNHCR and UNICEF set up a number of Blue Dot Support Hubs in key areas of Hungary.

On bluedothub.org you can:

• Look in the map to find the nearest Blue Dot and all the active Blue Dots in Hungary.
• Search for a service provider, through the below sections.
• See how you and persons you are traveling with can stay safe during your journey.
• Provide us with feedback and/or complain and flag harmful behaviours you or any of the persons traveling with you witnessed or suffered from.
